Try to grasp this: if you are a good student, education will find you on its own. There are fifty kids in the class; some reach the stars, while others stay in the dark even after receiving an education and can only accomplish relatively menial goals in life.
All of the students in the class are taught by the same teacher, so how come some of them can soar to great heights while others are unable to even attempt flight?

This implies that the disciple’s aptitude affects their ability to receive an education. Everyone receives knowledge from the guru, but the disciple is ultimately responsible for determining when, how, how much, and how to use it.
Every item, occasion, person, animal, bird, and particle of nature in this world begins to impart information to a person who is a good disciple. In other words, everything on this planet can impart knowledge to those who have the will to learn.
This suggests that the wonder lies not only in the wisdom of the Guru but also in the disciple, in how much sacrifice and hard effort he put in to obtain the information, and with what aim, viewpoint, approach, intensity, and discipline.
Because of his commitment, the student gains knowledge, achieves his objectives, and reaches parity with the Guru.
Eventually, the disciple becomes a Guru and mentors other disciples. This custom dates back many centuries. A guru is revered at all times. This has been beautifully described by Kabir Das Ji.
They both stand, Guru Govind; who should I touch?
I am thankful of my Guru because he showed me Govind.
Gurus are revered universally, and acquiring knowledge without them is highly difficult. The guru offers direction. He immediately calls the disciple’s errors to their attention.
However, it is also true that no matter how excellent the Guru is, he will be unable to impart any information to the learners if the disciple lacks the will to learn. If the student lacks the desire to learn, then all of the Guru’s wisdom and efforts will be in vain.
The wise man once remarked, “Be a good disciple, education will find you itself.” For this reason.
WHO IS A GURU?
A guru is someone who imparts knowledge to us. It is quite another else entirely to be with the Guru standing before you. He not only lays out your mistakes but also offers guidance at every turn. Finding a genuine mentor in life can enable you to receive God’s darshan as well.
Everything that you learn from or find inspiration from, outside from college or school teachers, is comparable to a guru. In addition to teachers, parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, neighbors, and everyone else we come into contact with during our life—known or unknown—all contribute to our knowledge in one way or another. For this reason, they are also considered Gurus.
In addition to these, each particle of the earth, any living item on the planet, and any combination of non-living and living entities can all be Gurus. Every event that occurs in life, as well as plants, trees, and animals, are all like gurus.
All we have to do is adopt an attitude of learning. Then, everything we encounter has the power to educate and motivate us to advance.
But being a good disciple is crucial in this kind of situation. You won’t be able to unlock your heart and mind’s doors till then.
HOW TO BE A GOOD DISCIPLE?

A excellent disciple is one who is constantly eager to pick up new skills and knowledge. A good disciple is one who views difficult situations as a teaching tool, gives his life purpose, and succeeds in his endeavors.
The characteristics of a good disciple are beautifully explained in the narrative of Saint Junaid.
Saint Junaid wandered around seeking the truth, but he was unable to find it despite his persistent efforts. Even though Saint Junaid was now discouraged, he kept trying. He grudgingly continued his quest for the truth. While traveling, Saint Junaid encountered a man one evening.
Saint Junaid inquired about a location to spend the night from that man. The man responded, “You can stay at my place if you want, but I want to make it clear that I am a thief. It is quite late now, so there will be no place to stay anywhere.” I’m heading off for work, but you can relax in my little hut.”
Saint Junaid pondered, “What wealth do I have that a robber would threaten me? Though he appears to be honest, he is a thief.” Junaid thus stayed at the robber’s residence. When the thief came back in the morning, Junaid said, “How is the work going on.” In response, the thief said, “Work is ongoing.” “If you want, you can stay here for a few more days, I have no problem,” the robber then added to Junaid.
Junaid pondered, “The thief does not stay at home at night and comes back in the morning and sleeps till late and anyway I do not have any other place to stay, so I will stay here.” Saint Junaid spent a few days there in this manner.
The thief used to go out every night and return empty-handed in the morning, according to what Saint Junaid saw. Junaid asked the thief, “You go out every night, but I have never seen you bringing any money or anything else,” until he could no longer stand it.
The robber answered, “Actually I want to loot the treasure in the king’s palace, so I am making a tunnel to reach his palace,” as he no longer felt threatened by Sant Junaid. I create the tunnel and go at night. The task is moving slowly since there are times when a soldier arrives and other times when there are other barriers.
The amount of time required is unknown, but one thing is for sure—the treasure must be looted.” After receiving this news, Sant Junaid was deeply shocked and thought, “A thief is not going to give up on his work; he is doing it with complete dedication, and I am searching for the truth with a disappointed mind.”
How and why did I become weary and frustrated as he continued to steal? Sant Junaid received inspiration from a thief, declared the thief his Guru, and vowed to keep striving relentlessly, wholeheartedly, and unrelentingly until the truth was achieved.
In this way, by making a thief his Guru, Saint Junaid ultimately attained the truth.
It is true that knowledge can be found across the universe if one has the desire to learn.
WHAT QUALITIES SHOULD A GOOD STUDENT HAVE?
The student should submit to the Guru’s hands if he or she is one of the fortunate individuals who has the guidance of a decent Guru. He ought to make a sincere effort to adhere to the Guru’s path. Simply by adhering to the path that the Guru lays out, the student will acquire all virtues. The follower won’t need to exert any additional effort.

(Remember that the Guru should also be chosen with much care and consideration.)
Let’s now discuss those disciples who are so good that they learn something from every life crisis even when they do not have an actual Guru. The most important characteristic of these disciples is that they are always optimistic and that every event in their lives brings about some wonderful, fresh, and enjoyable change that enhances their happiness, prosperity, success, and tranquility.
A good disciple is diligent, disciplined, self-assured, submissive, and disciplined. To accomplish his aim, he gives up all of his happiness. A worthy disciple engages in fierce combat. Instead of giving in to the situation, he changes it to his advantage. To get there, he gladly endures severe penance. He never concedes a point. He is constantly content and successful because he takes something positive away from every setback.

Problems arise in the lives of even the best of disciples. A good and positive disciple, on the other hand, becomes even more polished after facing the many hurdles that stand in his way of accomplishing his goals; a disciple full of negativity, on the other hand, spends his entire life sobbing, frustrated, and concerned.
CONCLUSION
It is a widely held belief that becoming a good student comes before obtaining formal schooling. Even if you acquire knowledge of the entire universe, it will be useless if you are not a good student.
For this reason, if you start studying well, everything you need to know about the world, comforts, happiness, prosperity, and serenity will flow to you naturally.
Therefore, it may be concluded that the only way to enjoy all of life’s luxuries, accomplish one’s goals, and feel the delight of a happy, successful, and satisfied existence is to become an excellent student.
So, it has been wisely stated by some man that
Being an excellent student will lead to education.
